Eligibility
In order to qualify for services at the Food Shelf you must live in Pipestone county.

Clients will need to complete a registration form at the time of their first visit. This registration is valid for one year from July 1, through June 30. Registration forms are available in English and Spanish.

Frequency
All clients may be served once a month by visiting the Food Shelf at 223 2nd Street NW, Pipestone, MN, each Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

An appointment is not required. Families are received on a first come first served basis.

Holiday Program
As a service to the community and the Pipestone Kiwanis Club, the Food Shelf also takes applications from clients interested in the Kiwanis Club’s Christmas Care program.

Our goal is to provide a broad scope of quality mental health services to people of all ages and economic backgrounds who reside in Cottonwood, Jackson, Nobles, Pipestone, and Rock counties. We do not deny services based on ability to pay, race, color, sex, national origin, disability, religion, or sexual orientation. SWMH is licensed by the Minnesota Dept. of Human Services and has fully qualified credentialed staff who offer a variety of mental health services. Our multidisciplinary staff includes social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health therapists, mental health practitioners, and peer support specialists. Consulting psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners see clients by appointment.
